Purpose of the job:
Perform research, design, implementation and support tasks as a member of Lohika R&D team. Work in a close contact with team members and customer while developing Java Enterprise Web application with high availability and security.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Participate in functional and architectural design of content that is developed for new releases of the product
  • Perform implementation, review and debugging of new content

QA Team Lead

Purpose of the job:
Candidate will be responsible for managing Lohika quality assurance team of 7-9 QA engineers.

Project: one of the products of Application division of Hewlett-Packard Business Technology Optimization software portfolio (link).

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be responsible for managing testing team of 7-9QA engineers
  • QA skills required: write and execute test cases, test scenarios and test plans; experience in risk analysis; defects reporting; perform functional, regression, load, performance and all testing associated with projects
  • Communication: work directly with local and remote QA and Development teams to formulate and implement testing strategy
  • Participate in identifying, developing and implementing applicable processes and controls within the QA group
  • Ability to lead and motivate offshore team members on a daily basis to execute task at hand
  • Create weekly status report detailing progress of all ongoing projects
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and take charge of project

Must have:

  • University Degree in Computer Related Sciences
  • Minimum 5 years experience in testing applications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in management of testing team (TL role)
  • Excellent communications skills

Take part in the development of HP RUM -- HP Real User Monitor software -- monitoring tool integrated with HP Business Service Management.

  • Directly communicate with customer support engineers and customer representatives as part of the HP customer assistance organization

Junior Java Engineer

Main objective: Strong Associate Java Engineer to reach Mid-level by accomplishing theoretical and practical courses at Lohika Training Centre for about 3 months. After successful graduation of TC engineer will join one of Lohika RnD team in order to perform Java development tasks like research, design, implementation and support working in close contact with team members and customers.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Attend theoretical seminars, workshops and English lessons
  • Execute practical training tasks given in Training Center
  • Do self-study on assigned theory and technologies
  • Pass exams on things learned in Training Center
  • Work in project team on research, design, implementation, defects fixing and support tasks assigned by Team Leader
  • Report to TL about current tasks status, technical risks, and crisis situations within AOR

Must have:

  • University Degree in Computer Science
  • 2 years of commercial development experience using Java or any other object oriented language
  • Expertise with Object-Oriented analysis, design, and programming concepts
  • Knowledge of basic algorithms (sort, search) and data structures (array, list, tree)
  • Practical experience with at least one of:
    • J2EE (Servlet, Struts, JSP)
    • Swing, JavaScript, Flex
    • Multi-threading applications
    • Experience with Databases and SQL
    • Advanced user experience with any of *nix OS: Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris
