General requirements:

• Good understanding of OOD/OOP paradigm
• Ability to write simple and clean code
• Deep knowledge of the Java language
• Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring concepts
• Experience in DB design
• Understanding of Agile development practices
• English – at least intermediate level

Additional requirements (each one would be a big plus):

• PHP knowledge
• Experience with large systems (running on more than 10 machines)
• Experience with message queueing systems, service buses, etcetera
• Experience with grid/cloud computing
• Experience with performance tuning, profiling
• Natural-born coach
